In 1985 Cartier asked Swiss masterdesigner and artist, Gérald Genta to redesign the watch that we all know nowadays as the Pasha. The Pasha is the gallery above is a very special one: it houses a Fréderic Piguet automatic chronograph movement. This movement is also used by brands that are known for the beauty of their movements, like: Audemars Piguet Cal. AP 2385, Blancpain Cal. 68F5, Blancpain Cal. F185, Vacheron Constantin Cal. VC 1137 This stunning Chronograph version is a limited edition of around 1000 pieces are made worldwide with a steel case and a platinum (950) bezel. The dial is one of the prettiest Cartier ever made in guilloche dark slate/grey. The crown and pushers are not as you are used from Cartier in blue, but in black spinel. Through the open back, you can set your eyes on the high watchmaking Frédéric Piguet automatic movement.
